Good suggestions though. But remember not all customers could be reached through email. Some of the customers might be offline with online. So how do you keep those?. Each individual business organizations has its own way of maintaining its loyal customers base.

This is the reason why you have to conduct and send feedback checking on your previous customers because it is the only way you can actually get them to know about your new products so that they might be interested in buying them.

All these pampering of customers won't prevent a customer that wants to jump ship from doing so at the slightest opportunity he or she has. Treat your customers right. Don't be pampering them rather.
I also believed that we do not need to overdo it. Some of them are abusive when it comes to a phrase: "Customers are always right." It is not always the case in certain situations.

Most customers always tend to use that as a leverage to misbehave. Some would just come to your shop and start shouting at you all in the name of a customer always being right.
