Billboards are static and can be destroyed by harsh weather like wind, rain and hot temperature. Billboards is of no use for a blind person. Billboards are static, only people that can see it are those that pass through that route.

Yes. Billboards are open to external attacks just like rains, thunderstorm, vandals etc.
Similarly, it's coverage is limited and can be regulated by the authorities.

It's static and that's the worst. Unless people are actively interested, people don't pay attention to it and only those who pass by it have any exposure to it.

It's best suited for well established brands who just want to remain at the forefront of their customers minds.

It is statics. And it can also be defaced by unscrupulous bill posters. Many passersby don't even give attention to it. And some of them are traffic obstruction.

They are more abundant in big cities in my country. The limitation is that not all locals can see them, especially if they do not usually go to these places.

Even the one in the cities, you know how much that is paid to maintain them. Such expenses is a waste to me because the billboards could not achieve better results than social media advertisements and we could only spend little on social media.

I agree with you , the ads on social media does more for awareness Creation than the billboards though.

I think that people are becoming to choose running advertisement in so many other ways apart from using the billboards except if the modern billboards could be used with digital display.

Yes with billboards you wouldn't be able to reach out to a lot of people which means that if you don't ply the route then it might be impossible to see the billboard

one of the limitations or disadvantages of billboard promotion is that they can be destroyed by weather condition. I quite agree with that because I have seen a lot of places where such thing happened

Billboards nowadays are built to be very strong and the flex are fortified so that it would not easily be affected by weather conditions. Unless those winds that can pull down trees.

Can be vandalized since there's no security
They are not useful for the blind persons
One of the biggest disadvantages of making use of billboard for your business advertising and promotion is that they cannot be everywhere so that they will reach the entire business clients.

One of the main disadvantage of billboards is the high costs. You have to pay the rental for the space and the maintenance costs. It does not target a specific market, and can only display limited information.
