You are right on this. I remember back then in University, those clothes sellers would bring some nice jeans and t shirts to our hostels and sell it out in a matter of 30 minutes.

Some private schools in my country are not allowed to have businesses that much within the campus. Most of the time, canteens are the only ones allowed. The other amenities can be availed outside the campus.

This got me laughing though. Ironically, it is true that alcohol sells faster and more than books on campuses. Clothes would sell for sure but they might be owing you too much.

I have noticed that students do not love to buy something that is useful for them. They will prefer to buy things that they cannot benefit from. I was once a student so I know how these things work

I rather think businesses done on the campus environment are very relevant to the campus life. If you you look at selling clothes on campus, barbing inside campus. They all are lucrative because they have the advantage of a ready market.
