The best way is to make savings a habit. I put a portion of my earnings to a fixed deposit account every month. I have been doing this for many years. Due to compounding effect, my money in the fixed deposit account has accumulated a lot. Other than that, I use credit card to earn cashback, I join loyalty program to get reward points which can be converted into cash when making a purchase. Most important of all, never spend more than you earn.
