Some of the most effective ways I save water include taking shorter showers, fixing leaks promptly, only running full loads of laundry/dishes, and avoiding letting taps run unnecessarily while brushing teeth or washing dishes.

I have read that taking showers consumes more water than when we use tap for taking bath. I always try not use shower.

I guess I am lucky because we save the water bill by using spring water. It is for free to use here in my place.
