What are your best ways to save water?

I strictly follow all those methods through which I can save water. I monitor this thing closely as whenever I consumed extra water then after few days we faced severe water crises, and that crises reminded me the importance of water

I have seen that the main ways for storing water is by keeping water in tanks that are very expensive here.
