I was once an article writer at oDesk now called iwriter and the pay was right. The pay per article varies according to category but I received $135 a month. I stopped because of work offline pressures.

There is even something who told me that the platform is still working and since you wrote about it, I am a bit sure that the platform will be paying.

I have heard that it's still paying members but hiring for new applicants stopped. Try to check it it's opened now for new members. It's better to check their youtube so that you can study ahead the tests. They give multiple tests to applicants.

I have never been in to the venture for online earning through writing. I however don't have any idea whether it's worth working with it or not for that matter.

I once joined an article writing site that was paying a measly sum for every approved article. After submitting about 5 articles, I was shocked yo learn that none had been approved. This meant that my writer rating was reduced.
I could not continue, and thus left.
