However the normal structure depends on the level of education, experience for the job, and the organisation's policy.

I think the amount of salaries for the workers would depend on the type of the company involved. Some would consider working experience and professional qualifications while others would only consider the abilities of the workers.

In the last organization I worked, one important metric that was considered for salary increment was the level of contribution to the organization. If you had a huge level of contribution, you would be paid more.

It is uncontroversial that it is the qualification that determines the salary structures of workers. You don't expect workers with degree qualification collecting same salary with workers of less qualification.
Though there is a limitation to this cause. There are some workers whose salaries are not based on their qualification but on skills acquisition they have as a result of their long stay in the organization.

Some manufacturing companies are paying pro rate salaries that are not based on academic qualification but rather on skills acquisition. The relevant of the jobs you do would determine your salary. There are salaries that are based on the number of times workers spend. The higher the time, the higher the wages.

Salaries in manufacturing companies in Nigeria are pro rata based. The more you work the more you earn. Most workers in these fields are not necessarily graduates but vocational skilled workers. Graduated workers can only be found in administrative sectors and their salaries are based on their qualification and fields.
Vocational workers are found in production sections and are paid on wages.
