What happens when the people you lend money don't pay back?

If it is small money, you just have to learn your lessons and move on from there. Forgot the money.

That is what I do too, I will ask for it once or twice. If the fail to pay back, I let it go. After all, it means they now can't borrow from you anymore.

I have made this mistake once in my life and since then I have never lend huge money to anyone as that gave me a lesson.

We need to move on. I was scammed many times when I gave away money in the form of a loan and they never paid back so I guess we need to be careful and should move on

As for me, I let it pass, but ill never lend them again because it will seem like taking an advantage

I try to not lend a big amount and try to be selective in my approach and if its a close relative then there is nothing we can do and we should not want to file a police complaint for that

When one decides to sue their debtors they tend to loose more on spending high on court cases and all that with no guarantee that they will even repay

Tough place to be. Would you avoid lending people money when they are in serious need. Yes. Just give them what you have and don't lend.
