I joined the platform but I am disappointed because I joined with the aim of getting loans from them. But to my surprise they demand on me to give out (lend) money to the people that they selectively want them to be lent money.

I have account with Kiva. But I don't use to visit the site of late. Kiva is non governmental organization that have help thousands of people especially in poor and uncivilized countries.

I would not be interested in taking any loan or grant from any online app. I'm not saying others shouldn't. It's not my business what they decide to do.

There are even a lot of platforms that give out loans to people who want to start a business or the ones who already have a business

So that is not a good site. It might be a scam site. They're luring people for a no interest charge that might be a trapped. I will never apply.

Kiva is a peer to peer lending platform, you can either borrow money and use it for your business or lend money to oither users. I registered as a borrower but borrowing was not easy.
