I have always stayed away from anything that requires me to install any app or click any link to earn..I don't want to compromise with the security of the devices for the sake of earning some money. The earnings are too little and it does take away a lot of memory space and causes slow functioning.

The people living on Tier one countries are a small minority compared to the big majority that are in the other part of world and that surveys are not suitable for them also reach 10 $ from surveys everyday is not possible as not all surveys paying 10 $ or more most of them between 0.1 $ and 2 $. And getting 5 surveys everyday is not guaranteed.
I think what really determines the amount of money people can make through online surveys most of the time is their demographics. That you are living in a top-tier country will not guarantee you to make up to $10 every day but your demographics matters.
