What is the difference in the fees of a government and a private school at your place?

Here in Delhi many years ago when I was a child the condition of the government schools was not good. So parents used to fear getting their kids admitted to government schools but now things have changed, and government schools are getting better with time.

Government schools take very fewer fees as compared to private schools. What is the situation at your place?

The same. Currently, more parents prefer to send their children to public (government) schools, rather than private schools, in addition to good quality and lower costs. This does not mean that all private schools are of low quality, the better the quality of private schools, the more expensive the school fees will be.

But here most people send their kids to private schools even though they know they are expensive. They want their kids to study well because their infrastructure and teachers are far better than those of the government schools.

Here in Nigeria, the fees of a government school is cheaper than the fees of a private school. Some government schools don't accept school fees

As it expected that private schools need to pay their high tuition fees, but it is worth because they deliver the good educational methodologies to the students. It is totally different in public schools in my country, especially in primary, middle, and secondary schools. However, some public universities are good to study in by students.

The difference is extremely clear because the government received a very low pay compared to the amount of money that is received by the private institutions of learning at the moment and I think the private institutions take a huge amount of money.

Where I live we have government-funded schools which many children where I live use and they are very good and have to hit a high standard to stay open. We also have the option of paying to send our kids to private schools as well if we wish bu this is a choice. We do not have to pay to use government-funded schools, that is something that the government fully funds, and all children are expected to attend daily. They are pretty strict if they miss school unless it is for a genuine reason. Government-funded schools help keep kids in school and ensure they get the education they need.

Over here there are some government schools that take extremely high fee, a perfect example is federal government collage. Their school fees and the rate at which they charge students for various things is on the high side. Though private schools tend to charge higher.

Also here in my place, parents send their kids to public schools. Only those with better income parents could afford to send their kids to private schools. Tuition in private schools are so high.

During our time private schools are not common, so we had to go to public school all through.

I do agree that it is less expensive to study in public schools. Although most parents prefer to let their children have the education in a university level on government schools. In fact, they are the prestige schools in my country.

Here in Nigeria, the school fees of private school is three times that of government owned schools. Most government is under staffed and school essentials lacking. Moreover, the safety of the children is not guaranteed. Parents prefer private schools to government schools though very expensive.

There is a marked difference between this two fees, govt fee is negligible or somewhere here free education, while when you start searching private school fees then you'll surprise to know that.

The government fee is always affordable to majority of the people even the poor ones but the private fee is sometimes not affordable
