From what I heard, they said it is not good and also drains the battery very fast. I am guilty of this too because there are times when I’d be charging and I’d need to do important things on my phone

Yes by doing this we are over working the battery and it will degrade the lifespan of the battery on the long run.

I also agree. This is what a smartphone technician had told me. Another thing, he said we cannot fully charge the battery, at least 95%.
