There are many high yield in investment platforms in my area whereby the sites promises people a higher return on investment percentage and after paying some one to two people they run away with people's money.

Seems that cryptocurrency mining scams are now popular. Someone introduced me to one called D mining for Tron.

I often get spam message such as that. I am not into mining. I even gave up on Pi Network.

Of course anyone that is a right thinking human, especially in my country should know very well, that it is the format of those God forsaken scammers, I keep telling people,if the profit or offer appears too good to be true, then obviously there is every possibility that it is a scam.

The most common online scam in my country is employment scam. You would be shown a certain job opening and you would be told to pay a certain amount of money to access the job and you would pay, you would never hear from them again.

I recently came across a recruitment site that is alleging that it has the capacity to recruit 10,000 people to work as crew in cruise ships. Given that the payment amounts listed under the various categories of jobs available are extremely high, I am skeptical about this site.
I thereby think this is all a scam.

Yes there's always the scam on recruitment which happens both online and on offline site. This happens here a lot and it is good to be careful about this too

Most common online earning sites in my country are for investing and you get a return of investment.It is the same hyips sites though tailored in way that it accommodates only the people from my country.

We have had quite a series of the same sites and they duped unsuspecting individuals who are greedy and think money is made from thin air.

I second your view. The individuals behind those online scams capitalize on the misconception by some of us that it is possible to obtain money from nothing, or miraculously.
This is the treason why I always interrogate the business model of any online earning opportunity to ensure that it is sound.

We call it Yahoo Yahoo. Those guys pretend to be real online by portraying themselves as someone else entirely just to dupe people and collect all the money that they have

Advance Fee Fraud has been taken online and it is the most common online scams in Nigeria. It typically involves a person posing as a rich and influential person seeking to do business and asking you to send your own part of the partnership business.

I receive emails occasionally telling me that I have won in a lottery. They asked for my bank account information so that money can be credited into my account. This is obviously a scam trying to steal your bank account details.
