I am not into cryptocurrency. My preferred mode of payment is PayPal, transfer into digital wallets that work in my country. I also don't mind getting gift vouchers from Amazon, Flipkart etc which can be used for various things.

It's good for you. I have not explored much about cryptos and don't feel much knowledgeable and comfortable with it.
I have been with PayPal for more than two decades now. I never faced any issues with them. I never felt any need to switch to any other service so far.
I agree there. One has to be comfortable and knowledgeable when dealing with finance. It's hard earned money and everyone has a different risk appetite. Moreover, cryptocurrency is yet to get a legal nod from our government. They discourage it in all ways. There is no clear stand so far on the legality , but yes, any income on the cryptos is taxable.
I have always preferred to receive payment in cryptocurrency but now that I discovered that most of the forum online would want you to receive payment in PayPal. I now have a PayPal account that I can choose to receive payment as well.
I think I will also create a PayPal account so that I will be able to work on other forums instead of working on only this one but I still prefer cryptocurrency payments because it is easier to redeem
It will be extremely difficult to create a PayPal account if you reside in Nigeria because PayPal account in Nigeria has been banned except for those who have been able to open the account long enough before the government restricted it..
Actually, many around the globe in many countries are waiting for a clear legal stand of their government on the cryptos. Goverment have their own concerns and they are valid. But, you are quite right that in the digital world, many people are involved in cryptos. Sooner or later, countries have to come out with a legal stand and guidelines.
My friend @arunima , me like you, would always prefer to be paid through Paypal. But you see, at this moment in my life, I am experiencing such a big problem that I have been denied access to my Paypal account and other my wallets. For this reason, the only means by which I can be paid here and on other sites that grant it is via gift cards Amazon or others.
Sorry to know that you have been denied access to your PayPal account and other wallets. I know that you are in house arrest currently. I hope that the situation is sorted out soon and you get back to normal track in no time.
My preference for PayPal has put me in tough situations too. I have around 8 dollars in BMF, but I am far away from requesting for a payout there. The limit is 50 dollars for PayPal.

I also know that unfortunately BMF has raised the minimum withdrawal limit on PayPal to 50 dollars and has also lowered the pay for each post published! The only way to withdraw less there is to use cryptowallets such as: Bitcoincash, Payeer, Perfect Money or Skrill
IN my country almost all of the payments are maid through bank system, and when the month reaches the organization will pay the employees through banking system, but there are some works like labor they get paid in cash.
Going to prison... that does sound scary. You mentioned that you are going to prison again. Have you been there earlier? I am not sure about what wrongdoing or crime you are booked for. I just hope that it's not a serious one and you don't have harsh punishment or ths tenure should not be too long. Same here, these days it is becoming very rare for an employee to be paid cash. There are some who even tell you the bank to open, meaning if you do not have an account in that bank you would have to go and open one.
You are right, also in my country we have to open a bank account on the same place that the organization have, other wise we can't get payment in other banks, so we open accounts there, and most of the times one organization only uses one bank to pay for its employees.
