Many prefer to operate a business online rather than offline. It is simply because there is no permit to comply and no tax to pay. In my case, I both have online and offline business. I am paying tax for my milk tea-selling business, whereas, on my online business tax is not required. The Ph government announced publicly that online sellers do not have fixed earnings except those big-time online sellers like Shoppe, Lazada, and Temu, They are required to pay tax. They have many merchants and franchises, so they earn a lot, so they have to pay taxes to proceed with their business or else face the law. In my case, I am selling printed T-shirts and branded shoes online. What about you?

It's great to hear you have both an online and offline business. I, too, do not pay taxes as it is not really required, especially for small online business owners.
That is correct, small-time online sellers are not mandated by the Bureau of Internal Revenue to pay taxes. The income earned in online selling is not taxable as per law order.

I find online business is very much cost effective because, surely it save my rent, electricity and fuel expenses. Which I face while going for my offline business.

Posting on forums is money making. It does not mean business making once online is involved. All that we do on the web means money making as long as we're paid.
