That is true. Most bad managers only take credit from the good work done by their subordinates. You may find that they don't even know how to lead people or they always cause chaos because they engage in favouritism or abuse workers. Others may have bad behaviours such as sexual harassment or being unkempt and coming to work drunk.

A bad manager is autocratic with zero sensitivity towards the well being of the subordinates. He takes decisions completely independently and doesn't want the input of any staff member. Such a manager believes he or she is the hierarchy of the organization.
