What should V.I.P membership have?

In your opinion what should V.I.P members have that other members don't? And what benefits do they get? As a member, what do you expect in a VIP member upgrade?

Personally, I would expect an ad-free experience at the minimum if I was going to pay for a membership to a site.

At the end of the day, I think it would also depend on the type of website.

Here are a few things I am looking into creating for this site:
- More cosmetic changes the user can do to their profile/postbits.
- Exclusive resources and content (In the process of commissioning work)
- I'll be looking for some Business to business relationships that I can utilize to offer special discounts and content to premium users.

When it comes to a VIP upgrade the two things I usually expect if I am honest are an ad-free experience and also things like access to a VIP forum, access to something like username styling as well, and perks such as possible ad space as well are nice. It really depends though what the owner of the site can offer a lot of the time. For example, I have a VIP upgrade option on a site I just opened and at the moment, I am unable to offer an ad-free experience as I would need an addon to do that so right now I mention that will be coming soon to those who are VIP once we can bring it in.

If the VIP member offers more limit posting than regular one then I might upgrade but if it is not the case I will skip upgrade option.

I would expect a higher commission compared to others and as well more opportunities to earn. An ad free site should also be part of the package and less transaction fee.

Unlimited posting is loser. So for example if you pay 2,99 $ for bronze vip membership and have unlimited posting means admin will run out of funds rapidly.

I have never purchased a VIP membership on a forum, but I have earned free VIP membership. I think the most important thing is better credits for activities and ad-free experiences are a must in VIP membership.
