It's best to reside where people are many to have them as future buyers.
For me something to consider before buying a residential property is: Is the location accessible to a workplace, must be free from flooding and landslides, a crime-safe environment, good neighbours, etc.
That is the best place to live. We need to be safe and be near where we work. I thought there is no flooding there.
You are wrong, the city of Jakarta is a city prone to flooding every rainy season, only certain points are rarely touched by floods. Including my place, I am lucky not to be flooded here.

For me I would consider a few factors when buying the property: The legitimacy of the property, I would make sure the property is located on the right title deed. I would make sure that the real estate company that I deal with is legit and credible
I would look at the location, availability of amenities, public transportation and the safety of the environment. Most importantly, the price is within my budget.
When looking to buy a house for my family, I consider several factors. First, location is key proximity to good schools, public transport, and amenities is essential. Next, I think about space and layout enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, plus a backyard for the kids to play.
We're safe from flood. Our home is elevated with concrete fence. Flood cannot enter inside.

I also considered the place and it must be near the center of the city. If it is possible, the lot is close to schools and other amenities.
