When all the discussions are already made, the next thing to do is to end the business.The best way to effectively end a meeting is to simply tackle every agenda on the to do list. Once everything has been sorted out, i see no reason why the meeting should still go on.
I agree that it depends on how the facilitator will end the meeting. It needs to consider to inform the participants that the Meeting Minutes will be send to them within the day or so.Ending a meeting depends on the heads, sometimes asking everyone about other matters. If there is none, the meeting will be adjourned peacefully.
Minutes of the meeting is posted on our office white bulletin after the meeting and printing. When the meeting is about to end and the boss asks for additional other matters, no one will talk hehehe and the head will then say the meeting is adjourned. I do not like to attend meetings sometimes hehe.I don't think a business meeting should be too difficult to end. As long as everything has been discussed and everyone who is part of the meeting has been allowed to voice their concerns or even ask their questions and they feel that everything has been covered then the meeting should be fine to close and end.
Asking the members for their opinions and any questions is very much important so that they feel like they are valued in the company or business.
I think you all need to come to a conclusion or postpone the meeting.In my book, it is best to wrap up a business meeting by recalling the recommendations given to problems presented. It is also best to give a follow-up date to check if the resolutions were effective.
