What's the rate of unemployment in your country

I do not have the exact statistic but I am pretty sure that a lot of my fellowmen lost their jobs. I also lost mine two months ago but I was able to find a new one right away.

I hope so here in my country. There is high level of unemployment I hope the people involved will remedy this problem.

The issue is that we have a bad system which encourages corruption. Past and present leaders are exploiting the system to enrich themselves. That's the issue. When things are not done well, unemployment rises.

You can't compare that of USA to Nigeria. If you're unemployed in the US, it's because you're selective or lazy. Even at that, the survival rate is higher than in Nigeria.

You are very right because I know that there will surely be a way even if it feels like there is no way here but I have not been there so I can't say anything about their survival means

It's easier to survive there because the government provides palliatives during difficult situations. There are so many side jobs to do and get some cash.

Not just in your country, many countries here are suffering from such too. A country that's not productive will always suffer from high rate of employment.

Yes I blame it on the bad society because our leaders didn't fall from the skies. Even the new leaders are worse than the old. I just hope we get it right soon.

In Nigeria as it stands, I think unemployment is up to 30% of the population. The youths are the worst hit by this unemployment problem.

It is a very tough situation in my country today because thousands of graduates are leaving universities every year with no jobs for them to do.

Even here in my country Philippines the rate of unemployment is too high. Yearly, there's a lot of newly graduates from different field. Due of lack of opportunities and jobs even college graduates hard to seek for a job.

But in fact, if they want, they can still make money online, but unfortunately they don't want to, most think that a reliable job is a classic 9-5 offline job.

I think that number is very large in a developing country like Nigeria. I always wonder why most Africa countries could not create job opportunities for its people for sure.
