Yes, you can't rule out thus abusive verbal from superior officers especially supervisors or the employers. Also, there are may be some time you are not in mood to overwork, you won't be understand and may be bullying for being too lazy.
I never work for anybody. I am self employed and I don't think I can ever work for anybody . Am satisfied working for myself. My friends complain of insults ad humiliations.
That's good for you. It's good to be the boss of our own. Some heads are abusive and demanding.

Good for you . I have always loved self employment but It wasn't forth coming at that time.
Mine was interviewing a proposed replacement for me secretly without my knowledge. I left them immediately I got wind of it.

You did the right thing no need going through more humiliation over what you don't have control over
And you know what? The guy that they interviewed was not good enough and I was gone before the interview result was out. So, they were stranded for a very long time. I think my assistant filled in the gap for me. And she was my assistant for a reason. She was not yet ready for the top job. I laughed when I heard their struggles. I later joined a competitor and their hatred for me increased.
That's unlawful, if you were a regular employee, you better had approached your department of labour to compensate you and sanctioned them for an act that's unlawful. Unless you violated an administrative act if not that's unfair and illegal.
There are too many to mention, which I think if I will remember it, it will bring back the saddest part of my work experiences, not good for mental health. I want to heal, I want to move on, so I just decided not to mention it. 
I've worked for a boss who always held meetings on holidays or after office hours. He also had a bad temper. I quit the job after working there for 3 months.
My goodness evil boss he must be fired and be replaced with a true leader nor a bossy one.
My worst experience being a worker was as an internal auditor, they/other departments didn't attack me personally but they seemed to dislike my position which often disclosed their mistakes, often stressing me out and in the end I decided to resign and change jobs.
I have worked for a company and my experience was not good because they expected all the workers to perform each and every day.
