When Should Employees Be Paid?

In my country, payment is mostly monthly. Some organizations use to pay at the beginning of next month. I think is not proper to wait till starting of next month. Some organizations use it to tire down some workers to avoid losing their services. All in all, no organization pays in two weeks as far as Nigeria is concerned.

Capitalists everywhere that sees their workers as a means to a goal. If a firm is doing its part well as an employer, it doesn't have to bother of staff wants to leave after getting the salary.

As we all know that there are different methods and modes of payment schedule as one could be paid hourly and some daily while others could be paid weekly and then we have monthly payments. This depends on the contract of agreement between the employer and the employee as not everyone will want to be paid on a monthly basis as some want to own and see their works payment on a weekly basis.

Ideally, every worker should be paid at the end of every month of they are not being paid hourly or weekly. That's when all utilities providers bring bills. Some companies would intentionally shift payment till first week or second week of the new month.

I believe it is good to be paid monthly but better people are being paid two weeks apart from each payment they receive as it would make things even more better than it is at the moment with a monthly payment.

Every company has different rules to pay it's employees but I see mostly they pay monthly and we don't have weekly payment option unless you are working on casual agreement in a company.

Monthly salary is just the most common practice among organizations. I think it is the best though because it gives an employee enough allowance to make financial plans but it comes with huge indebtedness to staff who are doing low paying jobs.

Entire my life I got salary one time per month. For all teachers is same date, around 10th in month. I got use to this payouts. Some people want it at first in month but for me it is same.
