When you travel for work, what kinds of tokens of appreciation do you give the organization?

When I was still working for a sales company, I usually brought wooden crafts known in my city to the company while on a business trip. It has been a practice that some salesmen do when visiting or having a business trip with their partners or clients. I am sure we can bring aside from this idea. How about you? Any suggestions?

it is always the crafts or good sovernirs sold at the airport or any craft shop in the state. it is always good anyway, to get thing or things of remembrance for them.

Travel for work remain very enjoyable and we remember this for long time. We get so many chances to purchase things for people those who given us this task so we need to buy something and give them.

If I have a business trip out of town, I usually don't forget that I always take the time to buy souvenirs for the company and for my family too. Even if it's just food, small things like that will please them.

Yes, when I visit a company overseas, I always gift a souvenir to the company I visit. But I am careful in choosing the gift to make sure the it is appropriate. For example, one should never gift a clock to a Chinese company because in Chinese, 'giving a clock' sounds exactly like the Chinese words for 'attending a funeral ritual'.

Some persons do bring back sweets and chocolates, though not everyone like sweets, so i believe things like pens would also be cool to bring back as well. And pen would be a lot cheaper.

I have never travelled that much. However, in case if I travel to a foreign country, then I may represent my business and company. This in itself is a really great thing if you ask me.

if the organization is rendering top notch service of course I would not hesitate to praise them for their services which is excellent enough . I know how to encourage others
