Which do you prefer making money or being gifted money?

Lucky are those born mouth with golden spoon. I always receive money cash gifts from my nieces' nurses in UK and cousins in New York. We are close siblings and relatives.

True and someone taught me to be an independent person so yeah that's why I prefer that one.
I truly appreciate the people who gave me though.

My mom passed away when I was 6 years old and my day passed away when I was a new teacher age 21, so I started to live life to be independent. We will be forced to do so, no choice or else we feel depressed a long the way if not move on and start anew.

But that's life you really have to move on even though it's hard.
But yeah I prefer to make my own money so they won't say anything. I think you know what I mean?

Yes, for sure, we feel proud of ourselves if see the fruit of our labor. Cash gift is money in the wind, but if it is from our sweat, we religiously spend it wisely.

It is both satisfying to receive and earn money. At the university where I work, there is aways a bonus and differential twice a year.

We get bonus once a year on the ocassion of Diwali here. No other incentive we get.

It also happens to other private offices. The university where I work is owned by the national government, so there are many incentives to receive even one sack of rice every Christmas.

I want to make my own money, I do not like to take monetary gift from any one.

The government offices are secured and there are always good benefits to receive. For four days days now, there are officials from the Malacanag including the First Lady visiting our campus and no vehicles are allowed to enter.
