I wouldn't be too concerned for Referral Index Forum right now, as Jordan has made it known that money isn't too much of an issue at the moment, as he has other stuff that helps pay for people wanting to cashout.

Though yes, I do agree that part of the reason why most paid to post forums switch to no longer paying, is because of money coming in. Some cases, it is because of advertising not paying that well, and in other cases it is user upgrade purchases not being sought after. And, well, some p2p forums just have a target in mind to reach, and once they get to that target, they stop paying out.

High quality content will help with this, since they can get to use Adsense and other advertising methods. Some people build theirs too just to sell if when it's successful.

PTP forums rely on the revenue they make from their forum, once that starts to drain and gets less and less then there will be less to be able to pay members of the site for their posting on the forum, therefore they can not longer continue and have to make the tough decision to close. Having a solid community who are active daily and bring fresh, new, and valuable content to the forum will help them though.

I wish I work on Bizdustry
When I wanted to register, they did not allow users from my location
It is quite unfortunate
They are not accepting users from Nigeria because of low quality posts. But if you want to register as a Nigerian, you would have to send a well crafted mail to them to prove you can actually contribute. They would then decide to let you register.

I guess it could also be the same reason why most business also go down as well. It could be due to the fact that they are no longer making enough profit as before or they are simply no longer interested in running a PTP site.

There can be many reasons maybe they don't get enough revenue or maybe inflation really affected them there are not a lot of paying forums these days it's sad because there were a lot of nice forums in the past

The simple reason is the PTP programs are making a loss. They are not able to generate enough revenue to run the program and pay members. RIF is a good site. I hope it can last.

Trendri closed down because the advertisement revenue was shrinking. I think with trendri's case, it was more to do with influx of AI content that did not allow it to generate organic traffic.

This usually happens because of the low income earned by the forum, so it is difficult for him to pay for the forum's operational costs, one of which is the salary costs for members. So instead of losing money, the site owner prefers to close the forum, some sell it to other people.

IN order to sustain the reward program, the forum also needs to earn something. PTP forums are shutting down because the sites are not earning enough revenue.
I am thinking: instead of stopping an earning program entirely, could a PTP site opt to reduce the amount payable to posters? In my view, this measure would be a win-win, both for posters as for the owners of the PTP sites.

What do you think?
