Why do people send marketing and other emails with large attachments

Most people have mailboxes of limited size, usually less than 5 GB . So if they receive mails with large attachments the mailbox becomes full. Yet why do people, companies send emails with large attachments?

Quality images have big size. If you have many data probably is better write everything in file and send it as attachment than put everything in email.

The large mails are difficult to notice, if the email software does not show the email size, and it is irritating for the webmaster, who has to waste time deleting the large files.

You have to purchase additional mail storage if this is required by work to receive large email attachements.

Some mail servers now have compressing abilities to either allow you read a mail and download the image later or compress the image to a lower quality version. You can always clear your mailbox.
