WHY DO SOME PEOPLE LAUGH AND CRY AT THE SAME TIME

I had a colleague at work whenever she laughs loud tears comes out of her eye. i was push to ask why? she said that is how it is for her.

Yes, I think this is what happens to me. I find out that it is when I'm finding the thing very thrilling that I laugh that way

I honestly don't know why it happens. There are times we laugh so hard and tears starts coming out. I guess it's probably how our bodies are built. One thing is for sure through, there I definitely a scientific explanation for this.
