Why do you visit a persons profile?

I visit someone's profile when I want to learn more about them, especially if we've just met or if I'm considering working with them on a project. I also check profiles to see if we have any mutual connections or shared experiences. Sometimes I'll visit a profile simply out of curiosity after meeting someone new and interesting.

It could be for so many reasons, out of curiosity, if it's a girl because I like her, although mostly out of curiosity to know what she does with her life, how she lives, what she does for a living, etc.
