Regular jobs usually need you to have certain academic qualifications. Some jobs need you to have really high degrees, like a master's degree. For example, if you want to join a bank job, you might need an MBA. You will have to spend many years and a lot of money to get a degree. However, freelancing is totally different. You need professional-level skills rather than a degree. For instance, if you want to be a website designer, you don’t need a university degree, you need ability to design websites. To be a freelancer, you need skills, not just education.

But there are freelancing sites that shut down and those writers have no income to wait. It is best to have an offline job and have writing as a side hustle.

Well, I understand you but it is different strokes for different folks. if I have a steady high paying job I don't think freelancing will be better than it so it varies

Working online is so stressful apart from the electric usage unlike in an offline job we're out of the responsibility in paying electric bills. It's good to have financial freedom.

After so many years of experience let me say that offline job is much more better than online work. Sometimes mental free situation starts killing our ability. In offices things and tasks are properly arranged and we keep moving and keep discussing. Here we just sit alone and write and then started feeling drowsy then move towards social media and chatting. No pressure sometime means no work

Another reason as to why freelancing might be better than a regular job is the fact that it is more flexible. With freelancing you can actually set when to work, and also do you job form anywhere.

Yeah freelancing offers flexibility of time and it seems be better than a regular job in this area. The thing is that with freelancing you can actually set when to work.

What sites are you talking about. The ones I know are still popular (Fiverr and Upwork). To minimize risk, you will have to try multiple sites and also in the mean time build your own blog or publish ebooks

Freelancing offers flexibility in work hours, location, and projects. You can earn more based on skills and productivity. It allows independence, variety in work, and potential for higher income compared to traditional jobs.

Why to try little known sites when you already have options like FIverr and Upwork which are not just sites but publicly trading companies.

I have never had a traditional job, so I can't really compare. Freelancing allows you the freedom to work anytime, anywhere, and spend more time with your family. However, the income can be unpredictable.

My friend that was a graphics designer left an office job and started freelancing. Anf he is far better off than when he was freelancing.
That's so nice, I have heard about similar cases like this before in the past. What freelance site is he working on right now?
