Why offline wallet is the most secure

There are days that people do say that hardware wallet is the most secure way to save our cryptocurrency. I don't believe this because once anything happens go the hardware, the our funds are gone.

But with offline wallet. Once we create a new wallet, we will be give pass phrase to write down and safe. Just the pass phrase written in a paper is enough to secure our wallet and make us have full control of our funds.

When you are going to login to your offline wallet it will be not done using a QR Code but you have to write down your pass phrase which could be compromised with keylogger.

Offline wallets are not connected to the internet so they are impossible to hack, even if they are stolen, thieves also don't have a password, so they can't open them. Extra or double security protection, to open and send funds you have to type the password or code into the device

What are the examples of offline wallet? And which offline wallet is best as per your recommendation. I only know about binance but it's not an offline wallet and also coinbase and both don't require any written phrases

Binance and Coinbase are types of custodial wallets so you don't have a passphrase or 12 keywords. Offline wallet is another name for cold wallets such as hardware wallets and paper wallets. Examples of offline wallets that I know of are Ledger Nano, Trezor etc.

Hardware wallets are the most secure. You have full access to your wallet and can only lose it if you lose access to it. The funds in it cannot be hacked since it's stored offline.

Hardware wallets are not available in the local market and crypto is not legal here so I do not use hardware wallet. I have tried desktop wallets and these are also very secure.
