Why the Donate option is strategic for a PTP forum..

Why are you sharing wrong information on every thread. Ptp stands for pay to post forums and not what you mean.

I stayed the same when I read that, ptp is paid to post, I think they simply google the information and make a copy and paste, the main reason why they can ban you in ptp.

I find it very useful to have on a paid to post forum. I don't know why the admin of beer money forum deactivated it. But I think he should reconsider that stand and try to bring it back.

One more very good use of donate option is as if let's suppose Paypal is not operating in your country, then you can donate your fund to other user who has it's account and get some LTC or other coin.

I feel having the donate option on a PTP forum paves the way for members to be able to offer services for the forum currency which they can then turn into money in their PayPal account or account of choice depending on what payment options are available.

Unfortunately, it seems that many will also abuse it which ruins it for everyone and that means many end up losing the option on forums even if they were using it as it was intended.

This would be the better option if it were moderated better to weed out the ones who abuse the donate system and ruin it for others leaving it an option for those who use it as intended.

I guess the issue is having enough staff to be able to maintain the donations ensuring it is being used as it should be.

I have suggested this to all admins but sadly none was interested. It won't take so much time to supervise these transactions and beer money forum removed the donate option and not ready to supervise
