Will you hold your coin or sell it off during the Bear season?

It's your decision and from my own point if view what you're doing is also good since you won't have to panic whenever there is a dip in crypto market but it would be better if you can invest what you can afford to loose in some popular coins
That will be the right thing to do especially with new coins. no need of still holding on to them to avoid running at a loss afterwards.

New coins are best hold during the Bull market when all coin get a significant boost in price , some new coins can actually survive the Bear but in reality majority of them won't survive it and even if they do it might take a long time before they will regain their stance .
That's why people always prefer the bull market to the bear market because done clins never survive with any bear market.

The Bull market is the only one that gives crypto investors the greatest joy. During the Bull season anything is achievable,some coins rise above their all time high , some even go to the extent of multiplying their price but the Bear is always there to pull them down .
Yesh during the bull run investors have a jolly time with their crypto but when it crash like now it is no longer enjoyable.

When it crashes its also a joy for some late investors, Bitcoin for an example, those who didn't invest in it when it was around $3k will not invest in it when the coin hit $60k last year rather they will happily invest now that the price is dipping .
The bearish season is when one can hold cryptocurrencies and expect for the bull run.
Panic selling should not be encouraged during the bearish season, it is often better to keep Holding the coin.
New coins are generally not used as long-term investments, so after you buy and there is an increase in price then sell them immediately to make a profit, but if the effect is a bear season and all crypto prices fall it's better for us to hold, while waiting for normal prices we don't need to panic at FUD .
I think this will depend on when i bought the token. If I bought during the bear season, it's better to dispose when it starts showing signs of dumping since you've made some profits. The reverse is the case if you bought at the bottom.
