Withholding school certificates of new job applicants.

The truth is that when you decide to submit your school certificates to an employer, you have decided to make that employer the decider of your future. I won't accept that job no matter how much pay they are offering.

As a newly hired member of staff, I would be very hesitant to hand over my academic certificates to my employer. That is unless an employer accepts to hold onto copies, as opposed to the originals, of these papers.

I have never come across such a company in my country that would do that for their staff.

I won't allow any employer to withhold my academic certificates. It doesn't add up because it is my personal property. And the employer only needs it for verification.

For me l would not accept anyone to hold my school certificates for the sake of jobs
