I am currently doing both, but if I had to choose a it will be online provided it can sort out my bills. There are some benefits to it like less stress, no transportation cost, some free time and many more. Which one do you prefer and why?

I have an offline job but in my free time, I work online too. I prefer working online because it is less stressful and I work from the comfort of my own home.
And also we can work on many online business and do them the Same time. Like as I post. I also do other things to make money online.
I prefer to work online especially now.
I would love to work completely online. I've tried it though and it gets really lonely. You also need motivation if you work on your own.
Having company around helps with that. If you also have family around, it cam become difficult to get work done.

Besides the point, it is safer than working offline. Coronavirus is not totally terminated.
It is safer and economical to work online this time. We can avoid heavy traffic and if you commute, the fare this time in my place is triple and there are only few vehicles running in this pandemic. We're affected by the war between Russia and Ukraine.
I can relate to you. It is best to work online with the right companies though.
