Most business owners today and young entrepreneurs are mostly after making profits but do not try to understand their customers. Understanding your customers is extremely important as a business owner, it helps you render better services to them and as well improve your image therefore attracting more customers.

I don't agree with the statement as customers are always right. But I totally agreed with the statement as always try to understand your customer. Because some of them always try to cheat us and we need to have different strategies to deal with them.

If you do not understand customer needs, how can you sell your products and services. Interestingly, these day big companies, through marketing, tell their customers what they should buy if they do not want to miss out.

There will be misunderstanding if you don't listen to the customer. Merely hearing is something that needs an upgrade. Active Listening is needed in order to properly addressed.

Customers are not always right but they simply use that statement as a means to tell us how much we the business owners should listen to our customers and how important it is to put their needs first. Then again there are some cases you need to clear them, if not they will simply step on you.

We need to understand our customers in what they really want but not to the extent by allowing them to buy on credit or do something horrendous. If they like discounts there should be basis like if they buy on volumes.

That would be a very big error on the side of the business owner, if he starts allowing credits from the customers cause this can lead to the fall of the business and no customer is that loyal to remain. Once the business starts falling, they will definitely look for the next best place.

The ability to understand your customers determines if you can generate customer satisfaction or not. Most companies or businesses today are not able to satisfy their customers simply because they don't put in effort to understand them.
