Are reality shows real?

These days on TV many reality shows are telecasted and people watch them with an interest. But sometimes I doubt if they are real or scripted. What do you say? Are they real?

That's how they manage to get the audiences. I don't like reality shows because of the publicity stunts they adopt.

Those contracts are very often in private sector. It is also normal stuff between public people and companys.

Yeah. People still watch them despite the fact they're being fooled, especially with Big Brother franchise.

Reality shows are not real, they are scripted. Well certain acts might come spontaneously but the entire show is based on script and the participants follow the scripts.
