If the said applicant has a previous work history, it is also good to ask him or her a letter of endorsement or recommendation from the previous employer. That would prove the veracity of the applicants ' morale.

Yes this is what should be done by employers to know those with bad manners they would have to assess the applicant previous work history, to find out from them
That is right that is the surest way to find out through that recommendation unless the applicant will deny that she or he has previous employment. But there is Barangay clearance and police clearance hehehe.

In most cases, it is usually the employees that have bad manners towards the customers. I have seen and heard about customers leaving a particular place to patronize other places not because of poor quality products but due to the fact that the workers there lack manners.
I think it can happen the other way around. Some customers can be bad to the sellers. I had seen some of them and felt bad why they do this. They tend to be abusive with the rights of being clients.

When you say something and you can't fulfill it, it is a bad character in business. It won't help you to breed trust among your staff and customers.
This is one thing i hate the most. Many business owners they are fund of doing this. They would tell you they can deliver, even when they know they are not able to, simply because they do not want to loose the customers.

That's a very good advise for business owners to conduct a background check for every applicant. This could avoid future problems in business. It's also best to require them letter of recommendations.

There are also employees having bad manners which is why it is best to do a background check or submit a support of a good moral character from the school he or she graduated from.

I think all the businesses should have integrity. Business integrity is the key factor in the management of the business professionally. However the relationship of the business to the the workers must be set in a nice position.

You said it right. If the company has its scandalous issues, it will surely spread like fire. This is what most companies do not want to happen. They need to maintain and sustain their credibility.

Having a high credibility in your business is something that is very important just like the same way it is important to start your business in the first place because it is the only thing that is going to ensure the longevity of your business.

In bad manners I consider late for meeting multiple time. One or two times I tolearate but third is already rude. Breaking serious meeting conversation with jokes and irelevant stuff. Taking others time with uncesarry comments just to say anything.

Bad manners in business, of course, will interfere with the smooth running of business, be it impolite in conversations, not keeping promises, especially in paying off debt, will have a very bad impact and be shunned by suppliers.

I turned off to someone having bad manners in business and inside the home. There are also family members having bad manners and it is not easy to adjust their attitudes. The more in business when profit is at stake and if there are employees who have bad manners, the customers tend to backout.

A company can fire an employee who is not deserving. It's assumed that retaining the employee means disaster for there's always controversy and petty chaos that would distract their works. The victim will not be silent if being tampered by the employee with bad manners. The usual procedure is to call his or her attention and will be advised to resign.

Seriously I find working with them very repulsive because they will always be very annoying and make it very difficult for you to actually do anything productive with them.

We had a colleague which is now in retirement who always eat all food from fridge. One time she ate all my cookies. I brought those instead of breakfast but she took it thinking it is for everybody.
