Can you live in the rural areas

Currently I live in very small town in apartment on 4th floor. My family (now brothers house) is in rural area, village nearby. I could live there if I have more friends there.

I am lucky to live in a suburb, a place where I enjoy the comfort of available city stuff
like place to dine out, 24 hour convenience store, good and stable internet connections, uninterrupted power and water service. But I also. consider my place having the environment of being rural as I can still get to enjoy listening to the chirping of birds and a river can be accessed in a few minutes walk.

We can enjoy for sometime in rural areas but permanent almost it is impossible to live there, because we all grown up around so many people and with so many facilities.
