Coinbase is shutting down in Japan

Coinbase Japan is closing, Coinbase is not able to keep the Japanese branch. However, people are given time till 16 February, to withdraw from Coinbase Japan.

Not sure of the news coming out of Japan recently regarding it, but it is sad that they are closing the offices they have there. Did the article mention anything about them closing services in general, or just the offices? I'll check either way.

That's not good news but at least they give announcement so that people can get their investment.

It is a sad thing that they are shutting down. I hope it will not happen in my country. I still have some BTCs in my coinbase.

It seems that coinbase is facing a lot of financial problems presently. This is why I love Binance so much.

Coinbase is a crypto-currency exchange bigwig and there are some countries rejecting them and this is not new.

Coinbase has really failed in keeping up with expansion across the world. It's better they remain focused on North America where they're based. They should have been the biggest exchange if they were available globally.
