Not all products can be granted free samples. Those that grant it are not under obligation vto do so. So one should not be expecting free samples from all businesses for him to make purchases.

In a case where I have never bought a product from a firm, I would request to be provided with a free sample before placing an order. Such due diligence is essential as it would save me from the inconvenience of purchasing an item that does not conform to my specifications.
Unfortunately this can only be possible if it is something that is already incorporated in how the particular business is being carried out, otherwise they're not going to give you the sample.
Not all companies can afford to grant free samples. The decision to grant free samples is at the discretion of every business owners. Though it is good to have free samples if possible.
I am sure that not all the businesses would offer free samples to all the customers. if they start offering free samples all the time, then this may have a negative effect on their business.

Why is sample necessary when you can see visibly the real thing? Can they give a sample t-shirt for example? Of course No. Samples are given like sachets of coffee and juices.
