I prefer to do my grocery shopping multiple times per month rather than trying to buy everything all at once. Stocking up on fresh produce, dairy, and other perishable items once a month often leads to food waste as things spoil before I can use them. Instead, I'll do a bigger trip every week or two for non-perishables and make smaller interim trips to restock fruits, veggies, milk, and so on as needed.
