I always look at the brand and choose specific brands when I buy electrical appliances as we need to look at the features, ratings, customer service, and after-sales service also.

I don't. I used to, when I was still young and broke. I used to pick brand for electrical appliances we bought for home. Now that I buy my own stuff I don't pick brands. Brands are too xpensive for me.
