They do that every year and this is what I like about them and its a very easy peasy way to save energy

It's just adjusting the clock like one hour ahead in summers so this way they use the day light to save on electricity and many countries including USA does that

Ohh never heard of that. I still don't get it though. How does making the clock one hour ahead actually reduce electricity usage? Would appreciate your kind input

Yes, one way is to make a window so that the incoming light intensity is sufficient. Not too dark or too light to create glare. Can be tricked by installing white window curtains that are not too thick.

These things are not popular in India but I feel manufacturing units can start early in the morning in summers and use the day light savings technique to save on electricity cost and these units do need to pay heavy power bills so this may help.

A lot of companies have now switched to making use of solar powered inverters to generate electricity and cut down on their electricity bills heavily.

We have solar panels in our unit and we sell the energy to some other party and hence save some money from it.

I think it is a very good strategy. Using solar panels is a very good alternative and can save a lot of money for the business.
