According to my basic understanding of religions, all religions treat women inferior. If you don't believe go and read your religious books. You will find a lot of instances where religious books say women are inferior. Correct me if I am wrong?

All through the Bible there are so many instances God used women. In the book of judges there was a female judge that went to war and led men. God honouring Mary is also another.
It is a fact that cannot be denied. Unfortunately, there are set of boundaries or norms that other religions treat women differently.
In some contexts of books, women portrayed inferior. But then, they serve an open eye that it should not be like this.
In my view, it should be like this. Unfortunately, it is not possible to some religions. They tend to give certain roles of these men and women.
I do not have any idea about that if based it in the history written in the Bible, I cannot attest that women are inferior, But there is a religion in my country whose minister abused young girls and he is now wanted in the Philippines and abroad.
I don't know about other religions. But Christianity, Islam and ATR really treats women inferior and relegates them to the background.
@Clandestine - I am a Muslim and our religion always treats women with respect and honours them. It is christianity which mistreats and dishonour women. If you know nothing about Islam, then stop commenting about something you don't know. During the Pre-Islamic times, female children were buried alive. Our Holy, Honourable, Respectable, Praiseworthy, Beloved, Most Trustworthy, Most Lovely, Most Truthful, Most Honest, Best of All Prophets, Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu'alaihi'wa'alahi'wa'ssallam) 
condemned this practice and the practice of burying female children stopped after Islam became the main religion in Arabian peninsula. No other religious leader was able to stop this practice. It was Our Holy, Honourable, Respectable, Praiseworthy, Beloved, Most Trustworthy, Most Lovely, Most Truthful, Most Honest, Best of All Prophets, Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu'alaihi'wa'alahi'wa'ssallam) who brought an end to this practice.
