Does your company pay over time in money or it gets converted into days off?

There are many companies that pay it's employees in money for over time they work and other companies pay in day off so if they work for 8 hours in over time they can get a days off without deduction.
Paying in days off can be more relaxing and satisfying for some employees who value or enjoy more free time.

In my location, that depends on the level of the worker. Management staff seldom get paid for overtime work. They may get compensated leave. For junior staff, some companies offer them a choice of getting paid or having days off.

If I am given a choice to make between days off and extra pay, I think I would choose days off. I know what the common choice of most people would be which is money.

For me I can go for anyone provided I get compesated. Management staff will need to take this action either one get paid for overtime work.or get a leave from work

My company pays overtime in the form of money to labor only and those that are staff members can only get off in exchange of the time they worked over time

We don't get paid for overtime here. Here in my company managers are not entitled for it. The staff below than the managers are give compensatory leaves for the same and the workers get money for overtime.

Here in our country Philippines the employer requires to pay their employees overtime pay for work performed beyond 8 hours a day.The company pay their employees overtime with money and not day off

I think a business should carefully consider whether to offer its employees monetary payment in exchange for overtime work or to allow employees to take some days off.
The reason is that, depending on their financial situation, an unduly high number of employees may opt to exchange their overtime work for money, thus harming the business.

Most workers would prefer inb overtime payment than pay vin day off. The economic situation has nitv warranted for workers to be remunerated with day offs. Better pay them inb cash. That is all understandable.

The challenge in my country is that employers are at liberty to take your time without compensation. That's especially true for jobs that are not well formalized. And you can't do jack

I have been in a company that never offered any kinds of overtime except on a one occasion. They claimed that they would offer some kind of food and this is what made many people work for them at that time.

Ideally, it should be paid in cash so even if we are required to work even after our working hours then we can expect extra income from it and it keeps us motivated

Every company has a different policy but it would be better if they can pay in cash as it will motivate workers and staff to work with zeal and enthusiasm even without the shift

Where i have worked have never paid me for overtime but i think payment is better than days off, with this you can get more things done. I applaud the companies that pays overtime

My company does not do this but I think in this is a wise decision for companies that do it and it is a way to reduce the stress that their staffs will go through
Working in this kind of a company will not be bad idea

Most companies in our country pay for overtime only if they needed it and asked for it else most of the times you are paid just your normal regular income that you earn on month to month basis .
