Enjoying your job, regardless of pay?

Does it matter whether you enjoy your job or not as long as it's a well-paid job? Care to explain your answer with the rest of us?

At present, we need to be practical in doing a job as much as possible. Being happy in a job cannot sustain the basic needs of the family. We need to hit two birds at the same time, and that is to have the right job and earn handsomely.

I must learn to enjoy my job and enjoy it
because it's what I wanted in the first place otherwise I should not have tried all effort to get the position. Once a position is given to us we must accept it wholeheartedly but.if it could result to self-destruction then stop.

It matters . I can not do any work that I don't like because of payment. I must derive some level of satisfaction from my work. If am not deriving any pleasure or joy from my job, I will stop .

I need both. I cannot do a job I dislike or have no interest in. I need money but also job satisfaction. I will not perform well and get burned out easily if I do not enjoy my work.

Though while everyone would want to have a job they enjoy, the truth of the matter is that most of the jobs we come across that pays well, are jobs we don't really enjoy. So yes am going to stick to that job that pays well until I have able to gather something reasonable or setup something before I can think of doing something I love.

I think that the main aim that most people work is to be able to eke out a living. Only few people work for passion. In fact, only financially secure people work for passion.

Good payment is one of the reasons why someone will have a job satisfaction. However, if the work environment is toxic, I cannot stay with even the high paying job

If the atmosphere around is good even with less pay I would continue specially if gettng jobs is difficult

Working in a role that you do not find enjoyable is challenging, especially if the salary is low. This combination can make the overall situation even more challenging.

For me l always look at the money that the job brings to me. l don't really care about the love of the job.

Mine is to have a working condition that's great and I don't have issues with the pay though I still want to be paid well

It definitely matters. Money was my sole motivation for a number of years. I worked myself to death all that time, but what do I have to show for it?
