In my country, we will be given a notice about it. Once you receive it, you need to reply with an incident report and explain what had happened to certain issues.

That is also true in my country. You are always given some hours to respond to the query and state the reason win disciplinary action should not be initiated against your.

I have never received a query at work. When I was working for an employer, I was a diligent staff, and had always tried my best to perform my duties.

That's good though. So you mean to say that you have never gotten queried? That's a nice one. I have been queried in 3 different organizations for being late. I replied all of them and the reasons were genuine.

I was once late for work, but I went straight to my boss to tell him the reason why I was late. And my boss is usually direct and forgiving, he doesn't note that I was late that day.
