Yes it's normal to feel fear especially is the boss is rude and fire people easily it's always scary to think that you might get fired if you say something wrong
The best way to deal with fear of your boss is to simply the the right thing. When you are doing the right thing, you have notting to fear or worry about.
I don't just like the idea of intimidation in the work place so I avoid anything of this nature in a place I want to work in. So it is better to leave for my sanity
Any boss that inspires fear would surely fail sooner or later. As a boss, you are to inspire respect and mentorship than inspiring fear. As a business leader myself, my staff don't fear me.
I don't think that it is ideal for an employee to be scared of his or her boss. It would lead to communication breach which can affect the organization.
