How do you handle workers in business who are not performing well?

There are times that some workers play during the working hours. They tend to be so relaxed and pretend that they are working. The ending is that they are not performing well in their respective jobs.

If they are not working well, it's to give them a chance to grow but in a situation where they have refused to improve, it's best to get someone else.

It is very common to see incompetent workers in any business settings. I take out time to teach the ones that are teachable and leave the other once behind while preparing their sack letter

All you can do is giving warnings and if they are incompetent give them training to enhance their skills and at last if the performance does not improve you may give less increament in the salary at the end of the year.

I hate co-workers who are not performing well at work. But they have all the time in the world to chitchat and go around the four corners of the room. I don't like confronting them but would like to see supervisor to deal with them.

That is correct. I will leave it to the management to deal with their bad attitude and bad work ethics. But still I can barely work with these types of people.

I would try to understand the constraints of those workers and see how I can help them rise from their underperformance. If it is something from their end that they can't correct, I might decide to let go off them.

When workers are not performing well, it draws the business back. It is either you redeploy, re train or lay off. It depends on what kind of business and the position of the business.

As the business manager they should conduct training and orientation for them so that they can get the required knowledge for the sake of the business.

Maybe they could provide thorough training for their employees. Nevertheless, if they do not improve, it may be smarter to let them go and seek more capable, trustworthy, and hardworking staff.
